The Penn State Speech & Debate Society partnered with Penn State Reads to host a public debate on the topic: “Should Fracking Be Part of Pennsylvania’s Future?” The debate was on Wednesday, March 23rd, 2016 at 6:00 pm in the Flex Theatre in the HUB, which is in the new part of the HUB on the upper level. Members of FossilFreePSU and the Society for Petroleum Engineers participated in the debate, and there was a brief period for audience discussion. The event was free and open to the public.
