Eclipse Resources: Longest Onshore US Lateral

On March 22, 2017, Eclipse Resources visited SPE Penn State to talk about the longest lateral well onshore United States they drilled and completed named Purple Hayes 1H in Ohio.  Purple Hayes 1H has a total depth of 27,048 ft and the lateral involved in the well is 18,544 ft.  Including the written part of the research, our colleagues worked - writers who cooperate with us regarding requests to write my discussion post for our website and also for students. The presentation by Eclipse Resources focused on the technical achievements associated with drilling and completing a well with such a long lateral.
